I consider the ERA seller’s security plan very valuable for those who intend to move into a new home. However, it does not seem to benefit anyone that is going to be renting following their home sale. Please correct me if I am wrong about how your “Houston Guaranteed Home Sale” works.
The ERA SSP is designed for a move-on situation. We are willing to buy the home of a client who will use us or a broker we approve for the next purchase. Someone moving to a rental situation does not qualify for our buyout.
