2010 Homebuyer Tax Credit
This just in from our go to lender, Brian Swiedom:
FIRST TIME HOMEBUYERS can obtain financing through the FHA Non-Occupying Co-borrower program with a relative that is not a First Time Homebuyer, and still receive the credit!
This is a great incentive to offer your clients, as it becomes more difficult to obtain financing in our current market!
A parent may participate in obtaining financing for a home with a son or daughter, or any other relative situation. The loan must fully credit qualify both parties. This is especially helpful in Self Employed situations where verified income may be low.
According to the attached information on related co-borrowers, paragraph 2, if either one of the Borrowers is a First Time Homebuyer, then they can still receive the credit even though the other Borrower is not a First Time Homebuyer.
We work very hard to offer programs that will enable your clients to qualify! Let us know how we can assist you!
